Daily Inspirations

~ Productivity is 1% effort, plus 99% fighting off the urge to futz around on the Internet.
~ Setting, dialog, action. All the pieces in place and flowing. Doesn't it feel good to be writing?
~ Yoda says, "Do or not do. There is no try." Nike says "Just do it." Queen Fin-Yoda (Andrea) says, "Do it now!" Butt-in-seat-time is your best ally!
~  Git back up in the saddle again. Get back on the bicycle. Turn on that laptop and start typing! T-giving is over!
~ Seek inspiration away from your desk, too- from writing groups, friends, family, books, movies (Yeah! Harry Potter), sunsets, kittens.. monster trucks....
~ As you write and write, your style will evolve, your plot and characters will come shining through, and the daily habit of writing will help perfect your craft.
~  Stock up on some extra fat word counts to get you through the busy T-giving holiday!
~ Talk to your characters. Get to know them as real, 3-D people. Then they will begin to talk to you (or at least guide your writing where it needs to go).
 ~ If you focus on just one thing, and apply all your energy, you can move mountains, walk 10,000 miles ... or write a half-a-novel.
~ "I think I can. I think I can. I think I can...." - the Little Engine that Could
~ If you focus on your novel's plot and characters, they rumble about in your head and weave themselves together in your subconscious. Easier to write them!
~
Shut off your need to get just the right words and let the story pour out! (BD)
~ Remember: NaNoWriMos are starting from scratch!!! We Fin-Yodians are already where they wanna be!!!
~ 50,000 is just the number five with a few zeroes attached.
~ Try and write first thing in the morning when you mind is still fluid from dreaming.
~ Do not fret about daily word counts, but do write something every day.
